When Messina Raven left Santa Fe, New Mexico and moved to the Nagchaw Nation outside of Coleman, Arizona it was a tough transition. This move allowed her to find a new family and home in the Arizona desert. Her union with Keith Bahe led to marriage and then the birth of a psychically gifted Star Child, who brought challenging new perspectives. 

The complexity of Messina's journey went beyond the realms of simple family ties because she had been adopted as a baby. Each step she took to better understand her roots were intertwined with the delicate balance of her new life.
