Toni Tarango
About Toni Tarango

Toni began her journey in fiction writing with a short story fiction class at Berkeley City College in 2003. Twenty years later, she self-published the Between Two Worlds Novella Series, which explores the complexities of a bicultural family of Native American and Irish Catholic heritage over two generations. Toni interacted with culture keepers from Arizona’s Gila River Indian Reservation, which serves as the basis for the fictitious Nagchaw Nation of Arizona. The Between Two Worlds Novella Series is available on this website and at the Oakland Public Library.
